How about you make a label for each of the four patriarc families: Methvin, Johnson, Brown, Turner? Then we can post pictures from our families, family trees, and stories for our respective families.

ReplyDeleteEleanor Turner Methvin was born in 1924. Joyce Turner Johnson was born two years later, in 1926, then Marilyn Turner Brown two years after that, in 1928. Fred Turner was born seven years later, in 1935. (I believe these are the right years, I know they are the right years separating the Turner kids.) When Marilyn was born, Eleanor remembers Dolly and her mother in the bedroom, giving birth. Earl sat out in the living area of their home, waiting with Eleanor and Joyce, who sat on his lap. When Marilyn was finally born, and let out her newborn cry, Joyce looked up at Earl, and said, "Kitty, Daddy?"
